Just because summer ends it does not mean the Jersey Shore cannot provide you with a fun and rewarding experience!
The offseason not only gives us a time to decompress, but it gives us a whole different experience of the shore.

For those who like the outdoors; You can take a relaxing stroll on the beach without the summer crowds. During the winter months it’s not uncommon to spot seals on the jetty’s or whales/dolphins just off shore. To warm up after you can grab a cup of coffee from one of the many outstanding local coffee shops like Divi Tree, Rook, Green Planet and more! There are many options for hiking within a short distance if you prefer a woodsy environment like the historic Allaire State Park. 

On the boardwalk, The Jenkinson's Aquarium, many arcades and sweet shops are open all year.  Plus many rides are open well after and before the summer months. During the Holidays Jenkinson’s has many events for families like under water pumpkin carving and underwater Santa at the Aquarium!

Looking for some night life? Down town offers stand-up comedy shows throughout the year at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club. The Ark Pub & Eatery is a five minute walk away, a great option to eat or drink, and has a very popular trivia night on Thursday evenings!

For shopping visit some of our outstanding local shops on Arnold Ave or take a short drive into the historic town of Bay Head. You may enjoy walking around and checking out the town and it’s little shops, but you must try Mueller’s Bakery’s famous crumb cake! 

 

Weddings? Many couples like to choose the off-season for their wedding date! Clarks Landing Yacht Club is a wedding venue within a short drive from us. Whether you are planning your own wedding or just in town for one we are the perfect location for those looking for a place to stay before or after the big night.
